Bianca Satta
Lead Teacher, 4s
My name is Bianca Satta, and I am blessed to be teaching at Risen Christ. For over 10 years, I have been teaching various grades at different locations, but early childhood has a special place in my heart. In my opinion, Risen Christ provides what every child needs- an environment where they can explore and learn, while knowing they are loved beyond measure and treasured by Jesus. I love being able to teach in a place where I can freely share my faith and teach students about Jesus. As a teacher and a mother of two, I know how critical these early years are in a child’s life in cementing the foundations in faith, relationships, social/emotional skills, a love for learning, and a curiosity in exploring the world around us. I try my best as a teacher to provide that to students, while meeting students’ individual needs, and fostering their unique personalities/talents.Â
In my classroom, I prepare students for kindergarten by getting them accustomed to a schedule and routine similar to one they will see in kindergarten. We engage in play to learn early literacy and math concepts, work on gross and fine motor skills, and develop the language to interact and problem-solve with peers. I provide sensory opportunities, science activities, dramatic play centers, building stations, art projects, and so much more to help students be kindergarten ready and inquisitive learners.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my son (who also attends Risen Christ!), and my baby girl. We enjoy taking walks together, and visiting local parks and libraries. I also enjoy reading and baking. I am grateful for the opportunity to be teaching ‘littles’ to love the Lord and learning!
