Sara O'Dell

How blessed I feel to be a part of such a wonderful group of staff here at Risen Christ Preschool! I came to love Risen Christ first as a parent while my own children attended and now as a teacher. It is truly such a wonderful place to foster children’s growth socially, academically and spiritually. 

Working with kids has been a part of my heart from the time I was very young. There was never a question of what I would do with my life, I just always knew it would be teaching! I have degrees in childhood education, special education, and early childhood education. I also have a master's in educational technology. My teaching career began in VA where I taught 3rd grade for six years. After moving back to NY, I took time away from the classroom while my own three kiddos were babies.  

I’m so excited to be back in the classroom and to be supporting your children as they learn and grow in such a faith filled loving environment.  My husband and I live in Macedon with our 3 kids, 2 goats, chickens, a dog and a cat.
